Mother's Day Giveaway!

It's almost mother's day.  Think about everything your mom has done for you.  Diapers, midnight feeding, potty training, (imagine if she never potty trained you... you would be walking around in a Depend right now) she taught you to count, she taught you the A B C's, did your laundry, cooked for you, did your homework, chauffeured you all over town, cleaned your room, hugged you, etc.  All this because that's what mothers do.  Where ever your mom is, here or beyond, let her know how much you appreciate her!

We are giving away this glass dichroic pendant in a Mother's Day drawing! Post your comments about your mom  for a chance to win it!

words for today.....
Sooner or later, we all turn into our mother.

  1. Somehow I don't think I will turn into my mother...LOL...she is about 8" shorter than me and pretty quiet. Being busy on the farm, she never really got to do things for herself except watch some soap operas while ironing! She tells us girls that we got our crafting skills from grandma.

  3. My mom is strong and smart and compassionate. She worked full-time while still being at the most important events in my life. She still works full-time (in her 60s), and still is there for me when I need her - AND she has spent the past year caring for my father who was diagnosed with Leukemia.
She is 4'10" and has more caring and compassion packed in her little self than most people I know. If I turn into her at some point in my life, I would be more than happy to - and also proud & grateful to have such an amazing woman as a role model.

  4. My mom has always encouraged me to be creative! We would go buy beads and I would spend hours making new creations! Nothing like something handmade to make you feel special! Happy Mother's Day!

  5. My mom is an amazing woman who showed me what a strong woman really is. She is kind and loving yet tough when she needs to be. She puts other before herself. She loves with all her heart. She has taught me to always be responsible for myself and to not rely on others for my happiness.
She is a hard worker and I couldn't have been raised by a better woman. She choose to be my mom and I'm grateful everyday for her and my dad for adopting me.
    Happy Mothers Day to everyone!!

My mom is creative and carefree and has taught me everything I know (with a little help from dad too) She is not only a wonderful mom but a true friend and I only hope I can be 1/2 the mother she has been to Lauren.

  7. My mom is incredibly caring and generous. She taught my sister and I how to be strong, independent women and always encouraged us to follow our dreams. I would be nothing less than thrilled to turn out like her.

  9. I love my mom. She is always supportive, giving, loving. I hate to see her struggle with her memory losses. I am grateful she still knows me and I can hear her voice.
